ABOUT ME
Welcome to the world and work of Alys Power. I am a freelance designer and jewellry maker based in Nottingham, England.I studied sustainable design and practice at the University of Derby and graduated with First Class Honours in 2004. I have had many fun and not-so-fun part time jobs along the way but I have always continued working as a designer and maker.
A lot of my current work uses materials which are reclaimed, reinvented, reused or recycled. These base materials are mixed with beautiful and fascinating found objects, sterling silver and semi-precious stones to create unique jewellery and accessories.
